America 250 Templates

Your municipality is invited to join NLC’s America 250 celebration by issuing a proclamation and sharing customized social graphics using the templates linked below.

Proclamation Templates

NLC has created two proclamation templates that can be downloaded and personalized for your city, town or village:

General Resolution Proclamation Template

This template recognizes the 250^th anniversary.

Customizable Social Graphic Templates

NLC has created several Canva templates to help you celebrate the role of cities, towns and villages in America’s 250th anniversary!

How to Use the Canva Templates

1. After opening the hyperlink above, click ‘view template’
2. If you have a Canva account, you will need to log in. If you don’t have a Canva account, you will need to create one to use these templates.
3. Once logged into Canva, click “Open in Editor.”
4. Click the fields that say “City Name, ST” or “municipality Name” and type your desired municipality name in the graphics.
5. To Download: Click Share > Download > Download.
6. You now have customized social graphics!
