Create a Video
Capture the essence of your community by creating a short 1-minute video that highlights its landmarks, traditions, and the people who make it special. Use our video script as a guide and share on your social channel and tag NLC (@leagueofcities) – let your community shine!
Issue a Proclamation
As a local leader, you have the power to officially recognize National Cities, Towns & Villages Month. Issue a proclamation to celebrate your community’s contributions and encourage residents to participate. Please complete this form by May 21 to inform NLC that you issued a declaration. Your municipality’s name will be included in a national announcement on May 23.
Write a Love Letter…
Download our template and share what you love most about your city, town or village—the people, places and moments that make it special. Your words can inspire others and foster a deeper sense of belonging. Send the letter to your constituents via email or social media.
