Congress of Cities & Exposition
The 2011 Congress of Cities, held at the Phoenix convention center, offered four concurrent conferences to provide more in-depth exploration of the most pressing challenges facing cities.
All conference programing incorporated keynote speakers, workshops, and peer networking sessions. In addition, the conference addressed the topic of immigrant integration.
Program Attendees could choose to focus on one of the concurrent conferences or sample content from all workshops and sessions.

The Economic Development Conference offered local leaders information to foster global economic linkages and encourage entrepreneurship and small business — both critical ingredients to more competitive cities in a 21st century economy. More

The Green Cities Conference offered attendees an opportunity to explore and network across several topics fundamental to building and maintaining strong sustainability programs. Cities are clear and essential leaders in the promotion, development, and implementation of sustainability activities, programs, and policies. More
The Infrastructure Conference explored several topics fundamental to building and maintaining strong communities and regions. Programming and activities were designed to focus on practical skills, tools and resources geared toward cities of all population sizes. More
