Cities are well poised to take action to address health impacts and climate change simultaneously using the authority and responsibility that cities uniquely have over building, energy and transportation policies. In this special webinar for NLC’s Climate Sustainability and Resilience in Cities month, speakers will present an overview of the City Health Dashboard – a data and mapping tool to highlight disparities in cities and neighborhoods; city actions that have high impact for air quality pollution health impacts; and specific examples from recent progress in a cohort of cities who were part of the American Cities Climate Challenge, a three-year program concluding in June 2022.
