  • Thurs., Dec. 18, 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time: “Using GIS and Mapping Tools to Guide Local Action”
  • Thurs., Jan. 22, 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time: “What Do High-Quality, Out-of-School Time Programs Cost? Research Findings from The Wallace Foundation”

IRS Offers New Funding to Help Cities Enhance Free Tax Preparation Programs

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is now accepting applications for a new Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) matching grant program. Cities and community organizations can apply for this funding to help bolster their VITA site programs.  The application period ends September 2.
