State Municipal League Staff Workshop
The State League Staff Workshop, sponsored on an annual basis by NLC, provides the staffs of state municipal leagues with a unique opportunity to learn about programs, services, and best practices of other leagues in a variety of areas, as well as the chance to get acquainted with colleagues from around the country. It also serves as a valuable learning and networking opportunity for staff at all levels.
The 2-day program offers a mix of presentations and roundtable discussions on state league programs and activities, interactive sessions designed to meet the professional development needs of state league staff members, as well as numerous opportunities for information sharing with other leagues. Traditionally, there are sessions on legislative issues and strategies, publications and communications, convention planning, and member relations. Social events are always interspersed throughout the program, as well.
