Unlocking Housing Goals for Local Governments with the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act

This webinar explored the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the most comprehensive federal housing package introduced in more than three decades. The legislation offers incentives and support for both the public and private sectors to reduce housing costs and expand housing supply. For local governments, the bill would enhance existing programs such as Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and HOME and would authorize several new competitive grant programs focused on housing-related infrastructure, adoption of pre-approved architectural designs, preservation of existing affordable housing, and other key priorities.
