The Morally Intelligent Leader
Katharine Baker, PhD., Associate Director, Cal Turner Program for Moral Leadership, Vanderbilt University
In today’s challenging economic climate, leaders often find themselves in unknown territory, having to act before they fully understand what lies ahead. As a leader, how can you act quickly in alignment with your own ethics, values and intentions? How can you be authentic to yourself while serving the common good? In this session, engage in both theoretical concepts and experiential practices to develop the self-awareness that fosters individual development. Plan to put intentions into action, while still managing daily stresses such as deadlines, benchmarks, and peer pressure.
