From the Event: Pride Month Webinar – Actions Cities Can Take to Support Your LGBTQ+ Community

Now more than ever, communities are looking to local leaders to be at the forefront in ensuring that the government creates policies that protect and uplift its constituents. This webinar, led by Ty Stover, Councilor for the City of Vancouver, WA, and President of NLC's LGBTQ+ Local Officials Constituency Group, explored how local leaders and city staff can take meaningful action within city hall to help ensure LGBTQ+ residents and employees feel welcome and safe in their communities. The webinar featured case studies from Fort Collins, Colorado and Salt Lake City discussing their efforts to create inclusive policies and support for LGBTQ+ residents and employees.
