The Latino Network for Southern Nevada won first place in the under 200,000 and over category of the City Cultural Diversity Awards.
The Latino Network of Southern Nevada is a networking forum for Latino/Latina leaders, community members and organizations that advocate for equitable policy practices on community issues with the primary goal of improving education. Using the collective impact model, the Latino Network of Southern Nevada focuses on the following six priority areas of concerns to the Latino population: Education, Jobs and Economy, Health and Human Services, Arts and Culture, Natural and Built Environment and Immigration.
