Most cities are working hard to make their websites accessible — but documents and PDFs are often overlooked. With new ADA digital accessibility regulations from the Department of Justice, it’s not enough to focus on your website alone. Cities must also ensure that public records, agendas, reports, and other documents are accessible to all community members.

In this session, digital accessibility experts Mac Clemmens (Accessibility Technology Leader) and Stuart Tubis, Esq. (ADA Litigation Expert), together with fellow city leaders who have tackled PDF accessibility, will cover the foundations of ADA digital compliance, break down what’s required, and explore practical options for addressing one of the biggest challenges: document ADA-compliance. Attendees will hear directly from city peers about their approach to ADA compliance for public documents and will leave with clear next steps for achieving compliance in a sustainable, affordable way.

Note: Registration link will take you to a non-NLC web page.
