On January 29, 2025, President Donald Trump’s administration directed the Office of Management and Budget to temporarily halt the disbursement of grants and loans by federal agencies. Minutes before the order was to go into effect, a federal judge blocked it. Two days after issuing the spending freeze, the Trump administration rescinded the order. Now, federal grant administrators are reviewing grant programs to ensure they align with the current administration’s executive orders.
We’ve been here before. With federal grant programs being released, it is important to be prepared. In addition, state grant programs and foundation grant makers are releasing solicitations and invitations to apply uninterrupted. On June 23 at 2 PM ET, join NLC and the Lexipol GrantFinder Team to explore alternative sources of funding and how to prepare.
