Given the challenges faced today, generating natural growth within cities requires us to approach thought leadership with strategic purpose. From COVID-19 to our elections, the loss of jobs and inequities across our communities, it’s clear that the time to rebuild is now. Mayors are rethinking everything while holding people at the center of their purpose, and being assisted by federal funding through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This effort requires everyone at the table to push harder and collaborate.
Register for this roundtable to hear the wide-spanning efforts of mayors in 2021 and their fight to rebuild their cities across the country. The National League of Cities (NLC) and Ignite Cities will recognize elected officials for the courageous efforts during one of the most challenging years and hear from them how they are ready to respond and rebuild in 2022.
