City leaders have been essential players in the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rapid acceleration of the highly contagious Delta variant coupled with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) approval of the first COVID-19 vaccine, present both opportunities and challenges. This event will introduce a new initiative between the National League of Cities (NLC) and the YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) to increase confidence in and access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
Learn how to harness the power of cross-sector partnerships in reaching, motivating and supporting people who still need to be vaccinated. Representatives from NLC, the YMCA of the USA will share information about specific opportunities and resources available to address challenges and remove barriers that inhibit vaccine confidence and access.
