Legacy Forward is an NLC technical assistance cohort program that aims to support small and mid-size municipalities shift from startup-focused strategies to long-term business retention and growth. Through regular virtual convenings and expert-led webinars, cities who apply and are selected for the cohort will connect with each other and ultimately build the capacity to support more legacy and second-stage businesses in their communities with intentionality imbued with innovation.
Cities who are interested in participating in this cohort, which runs from June 2026-February 2027, are welcome to register for this information session, where we will share specific participation criteria and details to prepare for the program application. As well, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions live.
