About the Speaker

Dr. Oscar Alleyne, DrPH, MPH

Dr. Alleyne is the Chief of Programs and Services for the National Association of County and City Health Officials where he oversees over a $28 million dollar portfolio of programs along with its membership and meetings services. He has a demonstrated history of working in the local and national public health sector with experience in epidemiology, health communication, population health planning and assessment, government, emergency preparedness, informatics, biosurveillance, and environmental health. Additionally, Dr. Alleyne is the Past President of the Board of Directors of the New York State Public Health Association, the Past President of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health and the Immediate Past Chair of the Epidemiology Section of the American Public Health Association.
