This session hosted by NLC and SL Environmental Law Group will explore case studies demonstrating how real cities optimized their claims to secure substantial funding through settlements over PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, also known as “forever chemicals”) in drinking water, as well as examples of municipalities pursuing other proactive funding strategies to address PFAS contamination in soil and wastewater.
Attendees will discover how local government leaders can take action now, using the same strategies to enhance outcomes from current and anticipated funding opportunities.
Note: Registration link will take you to a non-NLC web page.
