The National League of Cities (NLC), in partnership with U.S. Digital Response (USDR), is hosting a two-hour, hands-on session designed to help staff apply AI tools to real-world translation challenges.
Clear, timely communication is essential for serving multilingual communities. This workshop explores how generative AI can help local governments produce faster, more cost-effective translations while maintaining high standards for accuracy, readability and cultural relevance. The session emphasizes how AI can augment—not replace—human expertise in public sector communications.
