With the historic investment of $362 billion for the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, established under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), America’s cities and counties are at a pivotal juncture in both short- and long-term planning.

ARPA provides enough resources to allow many local governments to build toward recovery from the economic impacts of COVID-19 as well as foster long-term shifts toward racial equity in their communities. This session will allow you to hear from experts and get local government examples that highlight opportunities to ensure equitable planning in ARPA spending for both counties and cities.
