Cities and other municipal bond issuers sold a record $20.4 billion of “green bonds” in 2021, to finance environmentally positive projects ranging from energy efficient schools and other buildings to water and sewer upgrades and renewable energy projects. This webinar will help City leaders understand which types of projects are eligible for Green Bond financing and how to determine if Green Bonds should be a component of their City’s capital plans.

The webinar will also share insights learned from the professionals who worked on the Newark Public Schools’ 2021 financing for the District’s Energy Savings Improvement Program, which was recognized as the 2021 ESG Deal of the Year by The Bond Buyer.

Speakers Include:

  • Robbi Acampora, Managing Director, Phoenix Advisors
  • Laura Levenstein, Chief Risk Officer, Build America Mutual
  • Moderator: Michael Stanton, Head of Strategy and Communications, Build America Mutual
