NLC Large City Council Presidents started meeting at a special convening to offer an opportunity for leaders of cities with more than 400,000 residents to come together and share best practices and strategies for leadership. In its third year, the 2019 Large City Council Presidents convening will take place in Philadelphia, PA and focus on housing.
This event is by invitation only. If you would like to learn more about attending this event, please contact Timothy Evans at email@example.com.
The objectives for this year's summit are:
To leverage the experiences and knowledge of council presidents, demonstrating and reinforcing the peer network’s ability to be an active resource when confronted with daily challenges (housing, legislating, etc.)
To showcase Philadelphia’s best practices (experiences and lessons learned) around housing and other topics
To gain tangible examples to address relevant local challenges connected to being council president
