2020 State Municipal League Executive Directors and Presidents Fly-In
In addition to Hill meetings on Feb. 6, NLC has partnered with the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (AAAS EPI Center) to offer a stakeholder engagement summit on February 7 in Washington, DC. During the summit we will discuss topics related to water pollution and management, including contamination from persistent chemicals such as PFAS. The summit will include an opportunity to connect with scientific experts actively working to address PFAS, explore whether the existing scientific evidence is accessible and useful for decision-makers, and address the specific concerns of summit participants.
The event will take place on Friday, Feb. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Your Thursday night hotel room will be covered.
The AAAS event is optional and you must opt-out of the session by un-checking the box during your registration if you do not wish to attend
