Dear Columbus,
Columbus… America’s Opportunity City… Ohio’s capital… Our home.
For my whole life you have been a place that inspires, challenges, and fights. You are a city that is rich in history and poised for a continued vibrant future.
As a product of Columbus City Schools, I know the opportunities you provide for all of our residents. And we are working together to make those opportunities even greater. Your residents are people of passion and advocacy—working to lift you and their fellow residents up. Each of our Columbus neighborhoods has something special to offer. Fifteen neighborhoods with distinct personalities and incredible contributions.
You are a welcoming community, a boomtown, a place with a cool factor that draws people from all over the country to meet, compete in a variety of sports and visit. You have dynamic entertainment districts and friendly neighborhoods.
Columbus, I am grateful for you and honored that I get to serve you.
Love,
Mayor Andrew J. Ginther
