Blue Star Families - Blue Star families provides a community of support and resources for military families, including discounts for local museums, a handbook for caregivers, and the "Books on Bases" program.
Military Child Education Coalition - MCEC supports military-connected children through research, advocacy, professional institutes, and conferences.

Higher Education

Department of Education, 8 Keys to Success - The Department of Education prioritizes veterans in discretionary grants and provides support and guidance for educational institutions in best practices for serving veterans and their families. GI Bill Users Guide - This guide breaks down the basics of eligibility, how to apply for, and where to use GI bill benefits.
Scholarships - The Pat Tillman Foundation, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars are just a few of the organizations offering scholarships to military families. The Department of Education maintains a larger list here.
Student Veterans of America - SVA advocates on behalf of veterans in higher education institutions, and provides peer support for veterans on college campuses
Veteran Benefits by State - organizes state-specific education benefits (these lists, however, are non-exhaustive).
