Affordable Housing Project
Service: Provides local elected officials and their staffs with a multifaceted educational program to promote the development, expansion, and sustainability of affordable housing programs for their communities. More

Resource: Many cities have created afterschool programs to promote learning, keep children out of trouble, and meet the needs of working parents.

Program: Since 2007, NLC and KaBOOM! have partnered to create great playspaces within walking distance of every child in America.  More

Legislating for Results 
Service: NLC and the Urban Institute (UI), developed a project providing a set of "Municipal Action Guides" for results-based legislating for local government. More 

Municipal Action for Immigrant Integration
Program: NLC's project to help address integration and social inclusion challenges in cities.

Poverty Reduction Strategy

Resource: A project, supported by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, focused on municipalities located in rural areas. More 

Stimulating Municipal Action to Reduce Poverty 
Service: A three-year project to assist municipal officials and their partners to  address poverty and other inequalities in their cities and towns, with support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. More
