Positions

CITY MANAGER:  City of Cape Coral, Florida. The City Manager, at the direction of City Council, shall be the chief administrative officer of the City. The City Manager shall be responsible to the Council for the administration of all City affairs placed in the City Manager’s charge by or under the City Charter. Assists in implementing Council’s agenda through a collaborative effort. The City Manager directs a city workforce of approximately 1,500 employees and is responsible for the day to day operations of the City. Individual assigned to this classification is accountable for applying extensive knowledge of a wide variety of City government functions. Salary and terms of the City Manager’s contract are negotiable and subject to Council approval.
