October 18, 2012

By Wendy Lu

NLC has announced the 10 selected Solution Theater workshops at the upcoming 2012 Congress of Cities and Exposition in Boston, November 28-December 1. Topics for the sessions range from waste reduction solutions to health and wellness to innovative service delivery through public-private collaborations to document management efficiencies for cities.

Companies and organizations applied to NLC for the opportunity to share their expertise, insight and solutions with conference attendees through one of these sponsored educational presentations. Timeliness of the issue or solution, applicability to municipalities, and strength of the session description were important factors in selecting from the pool of suggested presentations.

NLC's goal is to provide a wide breadth of Solution Theaters covering a variety of solutions and issues. Conference attendees are able to participate in the Solution Theaters as part of the conference registration fee - no additional fee will be charged. Solution Theater sessions will be held on Thursday, November 29, between 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. A listing of workshop titles and presenting companies/organizations follows:
