The National League of Cities (NLC) is once again offering the A.S.K. a Corporate Partner: Answers, Solutions, and Knowledge program at the upcoming Congressional City Conference, March 9-12, in Washington, DC. The program, championed by NLC Past President James E. Mitchell, Jr., councilmember, Charlotte, NC, is designed to connect city leaders with NLC Corporate Partners through one-on-one, solutions-based consultations.
Throughout the Congressional City Conference, experts from participating Corporate Partners organizations will be available to meet with conference attendees on a broad range of issues. Topics range from economic development to green building to maintaining vacant properties to health care. These brief, 20-to-30 minute meetings are designed to be the starting point for promoting public-private dialogue, finding solutions and building relationships.
There is no additional cost to participate, but an appointment is required.
Participating Corporate Partners: American Institute of Architects, Cigna, Dart Container Corporation, Duke Energy, Hyland Software, Institute for Building Technology and Safety, National Restaurant Association, Pioneer Credit Recovery, Safeguard Properties, Siemens, UnitedHealthcare, United Water, and Wells Fargo.
