NLC will be continuing the A.S.K. a Corporate Partner: Answers, Solutions, and Knowledge program at the upcoming 2012 Congress of Cities and Exposition in Boston, November 28-December 1. The program, championed by NLC Past President James E. Mitchell, Jr., Councilmember, Charlotte, NC, and launched at the 2011 Congressional City Conference in Washington, DC, is designed to connect city leaders with NLC Corporate Partners through one-on-one, solutions-based consultations.

On Thursday, November 29, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. and throughout the Congress of Cities, experts from participating Corporate Partners organizations will be available to meet with conference attendees on a broad range of issues. Topics range from economic development to cloud computing to maintaining vacant properties to neighborhood stabilization. These brief, 20-to-30 minute meetings are designed to be the starting point for promoting public-private dialogue, finding solutions and building relationships.

The program will be offered for the fourth time in Boston, and the sessions are increasingly popular with delegates. There is no additional cost to participate, but an appointment is required. Space is limited and time slots fill up quickly, so sign up today!
