The National League of Cites (NLC) is excited to launch The Peer2Peer Network.  This program is sponsored by Charlotte, NC Councilmember James Mitchell, Jr. NLC Past President, and was developed to provide new members and newly elected/appointed officials from NLC member cities (Peer Partners) an opportunity to link with experienced and seasoned NLC members (Peer Leaders) who are willing to share their personal experiences, accelerate the involvement of a new generation of leaders, and introduce members to the vast pool of resources and networks NLC provides.

Additional benefits are to:

·         Foster deeper participation in the National League of Cities

·         Help members settle into the organization

·         Provide an encouraging environment through ongoing interactions and role modeling that facilitates progression within the organization

·         Encourage an exchange of information, knowledge and ideas

The NLC Peer2Peer Network is designed to "match" two NLC members with similar interests to enhance the professional development of the Peer Partner and Peer Leader.  This program is a great opportunity to provide and receive experienced guidance and support to meet the challenges of an elected/appointed municipal official.

Take your community to the next level and become a Peer Leader or Peer Partner today!  Find full program information and an application in the Member Center.
