Municipal leaders, city staff and community partners are invited to register for a free, hour-long webinar on "Using Ready by 21 Tools to Guide Youth Master Planning." Co-sponsored by NLC and the Forum for Youth Investment, the webinar will take place Wednesday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.
This webinar will introduce city officials to Ready by 21 - a set of innovative strategies that helps communities improve the odds that all children and youth will be ready for college, work and life. Local leaders across the country are using Ready by 21 to achieve collective impact for children and youth by establishing broader, more effective partnerships, creating goal-oriented action plans, collecting and using better data and implementing evidence-based solutions.
In several cities, Ready by 21 serves as the guiding framework for comprehensive, local youth master plans - an increasingly common city practice in which municipal officials, school district leaders, community partners and youth work together to coordinate services and opportunity for young people. More than 30 cities have adopted youth master plans in recent years.
