Youth Delegate Sessions - Schedule
As part of NLC's continuing efforts to promote youth participation in local government, municipal officials are encouraged to bring youth (ages 15-18 years old) with them to the 2012 Congress of Cities as youth delegates. The conference will be held November 28-December 1, 2012, in Boston, MA. Below is a tentative schedule highlighting related events for youth delegates.
Workshops and meetings during the Congress of Cities are open to both youth and adult delegates. The goal is for youth and local officials to meet and learn together during the conference. The youth orientation on Thursday, the youth forum and the youth social (both on Friday), and youth wrap-up on Saturday are the only programs exclusively for youth (and their chaperones).
