City Network on Early Care and Education

Specific areas of focus include reaching children in family, friend, and neighbor care (FFN) settings, promoting early literacy, and supporting school readiness. The network is made possible by the generous support of the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

Membership

Approximately 750 people participate in the network, including local elected officials, senior municipal staff, other policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and national partner organizations.  This network is open to all municipal officials who are interested in joining.

Benefits

Bi-monthly e-newsletter: The ECE network receives bimonthly email updates that highlight YEF Institute activities and resources, showcase promising city efforts, spotlight strategies and approaches to improving early care and education, and include additional resources, research, and relevant news items.
