APAMO welcomes new and returning members each year. The easiest way to join APAMO is by paying annual dues and fees via the November Congress of Cities registration process. Information about joining and dues and fees is available on the NLC Congress of Cities registration form. Dues and fees can be paid online in conjunction with the NLC conference registration fee. Prospective new members may also join throughout the year by filling out the membership application located in the membership brochure and submitting it to NLC via its instructions.

The APAMO Board of Directors is elected every two years at the NLC Congress of Cities from the group’s membership. Members are encouraged to submit their nominations for service on the Board. APAMO Hears about New Asian America Project
At the 2010 Congress of Cities & Exposition in Denver, APAMO had an opportunity to hear about Cinema Asian America, a new On Demand program by Comcast featuring Asian American content that reflects the diversity of Asian American culture and its cinema.
