The Leadership Training Institute is the National League of Cities' learning and resource center on local government leadership. The Institute promotes excellence in municipal leadership through high quality education and training seminars for local elected officials. Through the Institute, local leaders learn practical leadership skills and strategies to lead change and innovation in their communities. Each year the Leadership Training Institute offers a wide variety of national and regional seminars across the United States for city officials.
Webinars and audioconferences allow local leaders to participate in in-depth discussions with NLC staff, national policy experts and colleagues from other cities on key issues facing cities.
