"Cities Promote Opportunity" Audio Conference: New City Strategies

Overview

The Providence, R.I., Poverty, Work and Opportunity Task Force developed recommendations over five years ago for how the city could build opportunity for its residents.  City leaders are now implementing new strategies, including braiding multiple funding streams to bring effective programs to scale, and connecting health and housing strategies.  This audioconference on "New City Strategies," the second of the three-part Cities Promoting Opportunity series co-sponsored by the YEF Institute and Spotlight on Poverty and Opportunity, will take place Thurs., Oct. 18, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
