35 Programs Finalists for the Awards for Municipal Excellence

NLC has named 35 city programs and projects as finalists for the 2007 Awards for Municipal Excellence.

The awards finalists came out of 168 nominations from cities and towns from 37 states and Puerto Rico. A panel of eight judges will convene in September to choose the winners. Two winners, Gold and Silver, will be selected from each population category.

The winners will be announced at the Congress of Cities and Exposition in New Orleans, November 13-17. Information about this prestigious award can be found here.
