WASHINGTON — February 24, 2017 — U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions will deliver remarks to more than 2,000 local officials and other delegates convened in Washington for the National League of Cities (NLC) Congressional City Conference. “City leaders know best that public safety is crucial to building strong, safe communities and creating an economy that works for all residents,” said Clarence E. Anthony, CEO and executive director of the National League of Cities (NLC). “We look forward to hearing from Attorney General Sessions on how the federal government intends to partner with cities on the critical mission of keeping our communities safe.”
