Conference Overview

The NLC-RISC Trustees Conference provides trustees and pool administrators of state municipal league risk pools the opportunity to learn about industry trends, programs, services and pooling best practices. The conference offers many opportunities to share creative ideas and solutions, and to network with peers from across the country.

Conference Registration

Online conference registration will be available soon.  Registration fees are $495 per person and $225 per guest. The registration deadline is April 14, 2013.

Cancellation Policy:

  • By April 25th: $50 processing fee applies;
  • Between April 25th and May 9th: $100 cancellation fee applies;
  • After May 9th or for a "no show": Forfeiture of the entire registration fee.

Hotel Information

The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel is the location for the 2013 Trustees Conference.  The Sheraton is located on the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver providing easy access to restaurants and entertainment. Online hotel reservations are now available.

The NLC-RISC group rate starts at $149 per night for single or double occupancy plus applicable fees and taxes. The group rate will be available until April 14, 2013. Reservations made after this deadline are based on availability.

Note: Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out is 12:00 pm. You may cancel up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival without penalty. There is also an early departure fee of $50.00 if a guest checks out priort to the confirmed checkout date.

Denver International Airport is the major airport for the Denver area. Fly Denver provides you with all of your ground transportation options.

Come Early, Stay Late

Attendees can take advantage of exclusive Rocky Mountain getaways through the Denver Convention and Visitors Bureau.  If you are looking to extend your trip on either end of the conference, you may want to check out options through their Come Early, Stay Late program.
