The Digital Engagement team is responsible for web design, SEO & analytics, multi-media, distance learning; email marketing, member database & IT Support services. The Senior Associate, Technology & Web Support will be responsible for providing assistance in all areas of Digital Engagement, including but not limited to basic website updates, IT Technical support assistance and training, vendor management, webinar management, project management, and video and image management. Reports to the Chief Digital Officer.
Examples of Work
Performs basic website updates in coordination with Digital Engagement Team
Responsible for the setup and delivery of NLC webinars
Prepares monthly web analytics reports for Senior Management
Coordinates training sessions on various software programs available to NLC staff
Assists with new employee training/orientation on NLC's technology offerings and manages internal "help desk."
Produces internal and user documentation for programs produced.
Coordinates with IT Services (mindSHIFT) to manage/delete network accounts for new and current employees. Monitors support portal for case logs.
Assists with the installation of computer equipment and connect with the Network.
Manages access to all NLC equipment (laptops, projectors, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Provides technical support to Member Call Center as needed on all member-facing digital offerings.
Manages billing/payment for all technology vendors
Produces appropriate written communications for NLC staff.
Ensures phone system support is provided as needed. This includes setup of new staff and updating accounts with provider.
Occasional travel may be required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Two-year degree or equivalent; coursework in computer sciences preferred; minimum two experience in related position with web/computer systems, or a combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be IT / Internet savvy and be fully computer literate;
The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization;
Analytical experience in the online industry and/or web analytics;
Ability to deal with staff resolving technical support inquiries
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications;
Must be extremely detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment;
Strong working knowledge of web CMS and HTML;
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and other Creative Suite products;
Knowledge of web site content coordination, website design, best practices, and basic familiarity with coding languages;
Familiarity with SEO and website analytics, online multimedia and social media;
Strong team member with ability to express ideas in a collaborative effort and utilize constructive feedback;
Ability to think creatively and outside traditional communications models;
Strong comfort level with emerging technology.
