K-12 School Improvement Peer Networks

Education Policy Advisors Network

The Mayors' Education Policy Advisors' Network (EPAN) is a national network of senior municipal officials from the nation's 75 largest cities who are working with their mayors on key issues related to education reform and school improvement. These officials assist in implementing strategies to help their local school districts improve the quality of public education and confront the critical issues affecting student achievement.

Through periodic emails, a bi-monthly newsletter, a monthly conference call, and annual meetings, EPAN members have the opportunity to share information, insights, and lessons learned.  To inquire about joining EPAN, contact Andrew Moore at (215) 848-6910 or moore@nlc.org.

Small Cities Education Network

The Small Cities Education Network will create opportunities for local officials in cities with less than 50,000 people to learn and share strategies for improving public schools and developing effective city-school district partnerships.  Network members will receive periodic e-mails with best practices, as well as updates and research from the education field.  To join the network, contact Andrew Moore at (215) 848-6910 or moore@nlc.org.
