National League of Cities collaborates with private companies to offer programs and services that provide cost savings and benefits to NLC member cities and their residents by drawing upon the best business practices from the corporate sector.

Currently the following Enterprise Programs for Cities are avaible from the National League of Cities.

U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance
The U.S. Communities program provides cities, counties, schools and non-profit organizations across the country with the oppoortunity to purchase thousands of products (including many "green" products) through publicly competitively bid contracts with nationally recognized suppliers.

NLC Prescription Discount Card Program 
The NLC Prescription Discount Card program, in collaboration with CVS Caremark, is a program for member cities to help residents cope with the high cost of prescription drugs. The program  can save an average of 20% off the full retail cost of prescription medication for residents who are without health insurance, a traditional pharmacy benefit plan, or have prescriptions not covered by insurance.

Community Showcase - Web-Based Video Services for Cities
NLC has partnered with CGI Communications to provide streaming videos for municipalities.  The CGI team will assist with all aspects or production and will host the videos on a custom designed website that will be linked from the city or town website. The service is provided at no cost to NLC member cities and towns. CGI's breakthrough internet video technologies and innovative programs are designed to showcase and educate viewers about your community and all it has to offer your residents, businesses, and visitors.

America Downtown:  New Thinking.  New Life
America Downtown: New Thinking. New Life. is a fee-based comprehensive downtown assistance program. The program provides direct, hands-on help to city officials who want to start, refocus, or energize their downtown enhancement efforts. The assistance package is designed to let you determine the kind of help that's best for your downtown.  America Downtown: New Thinking. New Life. brings together the political leadership of the National League of Cities and the downtown expertise of HyettPalma, Inc. Together, they offer individualized assistance and a combination of strengths not available anywhere else.
