2008 Congress of Cities and Exposition
Programs and Events
The Congress of Cities and Exposition offers a broad range of learning opportunities including Leadership Training Institute Seminars, peer-to-peer networking, workshops, showcases, and an exposition hall.
In partnership with our host, the City of Orlando, FL, the 2008 Congress of Cities also offers a series of experiential learning opportunities that display the city’s exemplary practices and programs. Through Mobile Workshops (off-property educational sessions), Spouse/Guest Tours (opportunities to visit showcase venues), and a variety of other resources, delegates are offered the chance to explore the city and hear directly from those working to make Orlando a great place to live for all its citizens.
Call for Great Solutions
Be part of the program of the 2008 Congress of Cities. The National League of Cities (NLC) is issuing a Call for Great Solutions to gather innovative solutions and great ideas that address issues facing cities; if selected, solutions will be incorporated into the 2008 Congress of Cities and Exposition (November 11-15). Deadline is July 31. Submit a solution.
Learning Opportunities
Whether they access experiential learning opportunites that foster peer-to-peer knowledge sharing or engage in capacity building activities that strengthen their abilit to meet the needs of citizens, attendees at the 2008 Congress of Cities will find THE learning event that meets all their needs.
